MADE WITH LOVE, FOR YOU
When I got married, I couldn’t find off-the-rack invitations we Ioved. Nothing spoke to both of us, or represented my vision for the event. Definitely nothing had historical trolleys, a teeny take on our dog with a floral leash, an imagined skyline view with our names carved into an apple tree a la our cidery rehearsal, and a custom monogram subtly mimicking rail track, all included in just black ink on a cream storybook bifold with vintage postage from our favorite places, and more trolleys. So, using my art and design background, I made ours. Alongside other meaningful motifs, I incorporated dogwood flowers. Matt and I loved seeing dogwoods in bloom in our Atlanta neighborhood while walking our dog Toohey. The blooms would be out in full force during our wedding. They also reminded me of a tree from my family’s home that I always loved growing up. I decided that I wanted to help other couples create suites that embody their unique shared love story.
P.S. After we got married, my husband and I got a home together in a new neighborhood. As we pulled in to see it for the first time, I noticed a dogwood tree out front.
