Caitlin and her husband wanted a family crest that reflected their wedding date, love of astrology, and of course their favorite pets. With a nod to classic supporters but incorporating a touch of whimsy, we placed their pets in positions with a paw raised in a nod to the classic side view ‘attitudes‘ of more classic heraldry supporters in a passant position like a lion.

We played around with a version that included their initials before landing on simplifying it with the pets on both sides.
